MARZNI MOHAMED MOKHTAR; MARNI JAMIL. - : figshare, 2020 Abstract: Teachers should carefully balance the content of knowledge or knowledge that they wish to convey and then integrate with other skills, in particular, higher-level thinking skills (HOTS) into the effective learning and facilitation (LAF) process. This study will focus on the relevance of the application of the Marzano Dimensions of Learning Model (1993) as a guide in the argumentative essay writing process. The design of qualitative research using a case study approach has been used in this study. Two teachers who teach the Malay Language in Form Four in secondary school have been selected as participants in the study using a purposeful sampling technique. The data collection process for both study participants was performed through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and student argumentative essay analysis.
